Background
In 1984, Nicholas Eancheff purchased a Phoenix franchise office of the Genie Carpet Cleaning Services Company. Mr. Eancheff changed the name to Genie Services and began serving the Phoenix metropolitan area providing residential carpet cleaning. A majority of business was generated from apartment communities preparing units for new tenants to move in. Mr. Eancheff also observed that apartment communities outsourced many other services to make their units ready for move in. Cleaning, drywall, maintenance, and painting and other services were added in response to customer needs.
As the Phoenix population began to grow dramatically, so did business. Creating a competitive edge through experience, professionalism, and guaranteed work, Genie Services developed strong relationships with apartment communities and property management companies. These relationships and a similar market prompted Mr. Eancheff to research and expand the business by opening an office in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1994. The same conditions led to opening an office in Houston, Texas in 2005, and then in Austin and Dallas Texas in 2007. The company maintains memberships with and actively supports the multi-housing associations in the communities served.
Genie continues to improve and expand services to meet the needs of our customers. Some properties are converting from apartment rentals to condominiums, and Genie can manage the project from start to finish. By adding Asbestos Removal, Mold, and Microbial Remediation to our list of services, we provide a convenience to our customers that our competitors cannot. From start to finish, one call to Genie can detect and resolve asbestos and mold problems, including the drywall and paint.

Insurance
Genie Services is fully compliant with all state business, insurance, and licensing requirements in each location. All locations carry the required amount of Workers Compensation, General Liability, and Auto Insurance coverage. Genie Services is also registered with Compliance Depot and Registry Monitoring Insurance Services as a resource to our customers.
Licensing
Genie Services is licensed in painting and drywall in the states of Arizona and Nevada and holds Asbestos Removal certification and Mold and Microbial Remediation certifications.
